Whoa, it’s super windy out here! The sand is flying everywhere, and the waves are totally wild as they face the South Pacific Ocean. Even the small ones pretty intense! Ollie’s having a blast running around on the sand (not in the water), and he’s been munching on the sand like it’s his favorite snack (you’ll see what I mean tomorrow!). It’s a bit of a hike to get to the beach, but it’s so worth it. It’s like a little forest out here, with all the greenery and sand between your toes. We love exploring Wollongong!
Tips
- Free parking available.
- Just make sure you head to the right side of the beach, and you’ll see a signpost that’ll point you in the right direction before you hit the beach. Have fun!
- If you’re walking your dog in Wollongong, please make sure to keep an eye on them so that the Sooty Oystercatcher (race bird) can chill out and enjoy their day too.
