Fun way to spend your day here, take a stroll along the shoreline and explore some of the city best sights and sounds!
Start your journey at the New Sydney Fish Market, and make your way to Tramsheds. Along the way, you can stop by Pet O for a new toy for your furry baby and Messina’s ice cream for a sweet treat.
The Glebe Foreshore runs through some of the most beautiful parks in Sydney, including Blackwattle Bay Park, Pope Paul VI Reserve, Bicentennial Park, Federal Park and Jubilee Park. You’ll be able to spot three bridges, and a small waterfront access for dogs. If you’re lucky, you might even catch a glimpse of the tiny beach at low tide. It’s perfect for a little splash on the feet on a sunny hot day!
The entire walk is approximately 40 minutes and 2.2km one way. Once you reach Tramsheds, you can enjoy a delicious meal at one of the dog friendly restaurants or cafes.
Alternatively, you can take the ferry from Blackwattle Bay to Barangaroo and enjoy the breeze and having a meal there. Either way, youβre sure to have an amazing time exploring all that Sydney has to offer!
Tips
- Garcon cafe at Tramsheds is a place where you can enjoy your coffee with your furry friend by your side. They welcome dogs both inside and outside the cafe. So, you can sit back, relax, and enjoy your coffee while your doggo enjoys the fresh air.
- Butcher and the Farmer at Tramsheds is another great place to hang out with your dog. They have an outdoor dining area thatβs perfect for you and your furry friend. However, if it starts raining heavily, they usually close the outdoor area to keep everyone dry.
- If youβre planning to take your pet on a ferry ride, make sure to carry a fully closed carrier with your animal fully enclosed. This will ensure that your pet stays safe and secure throughout the journey. Guidelines from Transport NSW here
